Hot Weather Policy for Snacks

At Premium Snacks, we are committed to ensuring that every snack we provide reaches our customers in the best condition possible. Warmer weather can affect certain products, particularly those sensitive to heat such as chocolate, gummies, and coated snacks. To protect product quality, we have implemented the following hot weather policy:

Any new features or tools which are added to the current store shall also be subject to the Terms of Service. You can review the most current version of the Terms of Service at any time on this page. 1. Seasonal Shipping Adjustments
  • From May to September (or as regional temperatures require), we may adjust shipping schedules to avoid weekends and long transit times.

  • Shipments may be sent Monday through Wednesday only, to reduce the risk of products being held in non–temperature-controlled warehouses over the weekend.

2. Heat-Sensitive Products
  • Items such as chocolates, yogurt-covered treats, gummies, and candy with fillings are considered heat-sensitive.

  • During high temperatures (above 25°C/77°F), these products may:

    • Require insulated packaging and ice packs.

    • Have an additional hot weather surcharge to cover cooling materials.

    • Be unavailable for shipping in extreme heat conditions to prevent spoilage.

3. Packaging Measures
  • We use insulated liners, cold packs, and durable outer cartons for sensitive products.

  • Eco-friendly options will be prioritized whenever possible.

4. Customer Responsibility
  • Customers are responsible for providing a delivery address where someone can receive the package immediately (e.g., workplace, reception, concierge).

  • We cannot guarantee product integrity if the shipment is left outside after delivery.

5. Local Deliveries

For local orders, we recommend direct delivery to event venues, hotels, or offices on the day of use, especially for chocolate and delicate snacks.

6. Liability

We take every precaution to maintain product quality during transit. However, once shipped, we cannot be responsible for melting or damage due to heat exposure beyond our control.

7. Recommendations for Customers
  • Store heat-sensitive snacks in a cool, dry place upon receipt.

  • For events during hot months, consider choosing heat-stable products such as nuts, chips, dried fruits, or packaged cookies.
